In college I had a pair of “lucky” overalls that I always wore for difficult exams and for some reason they seemed to help me perform better. Superstitious or not, I loved them.
Time has passed and it is mostly too hot (in the tropics) to wear them. I have not, however, lost my love for their comfort so I decided to eliminate the pants and add a skirt instead.
And of course, to make them fun and interesting, I went to my denim pile of goodies to “make” new fabric. There are two different dresses: one with an organized arrangement of denim pieces for the skirt, and the second with a random arrangement of denim pieces that are overlain with no traditional seams.
Some things are forever, and I am loving both of my new denim overall dresses!
